So, how does this flushing DNS work to fix your err name not resolved or ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED problem? Making it a bit short, DNS (Domain Name System) servers converts a certain domain name (example.in) into IP address. This domain name mapping to the numbers can vary over the time.

Your computer system keeps a saved DNS entry records whenever it is accessed. Those records are called DNS cache. In case your desired website has moved their servers, you may face an error while accessing to that. Flushing DNS, and renewing them can help you out.

Now, how would you possibly flush the DNS cache and renew them? It is as easy as a piece of cake. Just follow the following procedure.

Step 1: Click on the “Start” menu and type “cmd” in the searchbox and hit “Enter” key. It will run your system Command Prompt as your Administration.

    I have faced this issue numerous times and often I reconnect my ISP to get this resolved. But thanks for sharing this information about clearing the DNS. I will give it a try next time I face this issue.
